Default The Rutgers gay suicide and aftermath

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20110420/...utgers_suicide

I'm trying to understand the legal principles here.

So if I were a college student and my male roommate was having heterosexual sex in my door room (to my dismay, since I feel like I can't have use of my own living quarters while he is having sex), and I "tweeted" about it, could I be guilty of a crime?

If he then committed suicide out of embarrassment, would it then be a crime?

Can't you spin this argument the other way, that if gays = non-gay, the same stupid things you can say about straight people, you can say about gay people? Shouldn't the same standards apply to gay and straight people?
