Default But Mr. Gorbachev, Russians hate you and love Putin

I think this is a case of a people having the government they deserve. They actually don't want freedom. They want security. They're Russian. They were born to suffer. They love it. None of this is so terrible that it cannot be overcome by vodka.

Freedoms and liberties require preparation. The Russians were not prepared for the responsibilities of freedoms and liberties.

Stalin did a lot to effectively liberate the masses from one thread of morality, religion and the other incentives within society have been eliminated. It is often a lawless society which is not very safe.

Despised by all, or by the ruling elite, or by those who yearn for the "safety" of the Communists? Of all people, Mike you should like Gorbachev.
