I didn't read the article, because as a general rule, I try not to read anything from salon.com.
The biggest traffic jams that I know of were the ones in LA and TX during some of the past hurricanes. The roads are just too small to be able to handle the escaping folks. People literally running out of gas on the freeways idling away. In TX they had to send down gas tanker trucks. |
