Wow. Was the game as lopsided as the score indicated?

I haven't been following college hoops much this year. I had no idea that UNLV was ranked. This makes the win by your Cougars that much more impressive.

Yes it was. The Cougars were shooting the lights out. 15 three-pointers. Rose was 8-10 from behind the arc. They passed well and had a ton of assists and outrebounded UNLV too. They just got off to a hot start with Rose's hot hand and UNLV couldn't recover. The only thing BYU didn't do well was shoot free throws.

BYU dominated from the outset, i kept expecting UNLV to make a run and it never happened. We were deadly from the outside, to mediocre games by Keena and Trent and we still win by 30.

I had UNLV fans all around me, and they were loud and proud for about the first 5 minutes, then the frustration mounted, and it got worse and worse, eventually they started blaming it on the refs, and then when it got so far out of hand that even with good refs they wouldnt be in the game, they went to the "At least we have a national title" card. You know you are kicking a teams ass when they pull out something like that. The kid behind me before the game kept saying "whats byu ranked?, are you guys ranked? I didnt think so" After the game i asked him what UNLVs ranking was now? I also asked him if his daddy helped Tark pay for that National title. He had no response and left upset.

I will be the first to admit i have used it as well, but i only use it when i know my team is done for, and it is my last ditch hope, thats when i knew BYU had knocked UNLV out.
