Hmm.

The Obama administration's eagerness to deliver economic stimulus may have influenced a federal review of a loan to a now bankrupt solar panel manufacturer, a move that may have left taxpayers on the hook for a $528 million debt, House Republicans said Wednesday.

The panel examining the loan disclosed e-mails that appear to show senior staff at the White House Office of Management and Budget chafing about having to conduct "rushed approvals" of federal loan guarantees designed to help jumpstart the nation's renewable energy industry.
$528M lost and 1100 employees laid off, wow. I wonder ... was Solyndra the timing belt, the fuel pump, or the tires?

Haven't had the chance to post one of these in a long time. In case you forgot about Obama's original economic promises, see this graph (everything not in red was created by the White House):

Yesterday the House unanimously voted down the 2012 Obama budget. I repeat, unanimously. Remember that the Senate voted it down 97-0 some time ago.

The RNC has a hilarious ad on this point.

Tex, congrats on the early morning orgasm.

Do you have any inkling on what is transpiring this week at the SCOTUS? And how their decision will affect the budget? And how many hours it will take to compile and debate the post-decision budget 2.0? Did Matt Drudge utterly fail to give his sheep the whole picture? I would be shocked to hear of such a thing. After all, the conservative right is the morally upright, virtuous, Christian-based, honest party, correct?

So ... you're saying the budget unanimously failed because the House is preparing to create a new budget after the Obamacare decision? The decision that won't probably be released until June?

Wow. One wonders how a budget ever gets passed. I guess that's the reason the Senate hasn't passed one in 1000+ days. All the Democrat Senators are sitting around waiting to see how the Supreme Court rules.

Hmmm, maybe if no one in congress voted for it, it's actually quite good.

Tex is so dang cute. He's like the girl at the football game whose team is losing 17-16 with 20 seconds left, and the opponent has the ball and takes a knee, and he stands up and laughs about how frightened they were to run a play, how intimidated they were by the defense, and that they failed to beat the three point spread.

But the sad thing is, he's completely and utterly serious. Then he hears from a secondhand source that his team's QB had a better completion percentage, and his team had 0.5 more sacks, and he goes around laughing about those stats. "Heh. Check this out. [link to boxscore]"
