I doubt he will be convicted or if convicted that he will do time. He will be talked to sternly, he will be suspended for a handful of games, he will go into therapy/rehab ("to heal my heart").

And finally, he will becomes a spokesman against cruelty to animals. The Michael Vick Animal Freedom Foundation.

This will be very entertaining. I guess you can take the man out of the ghetto, but you can't take the ghetto out of the man.

Ain't that the truth! Apparently they have rehab for everything now. My favorite to this point was the actor from Gray's Anatomy going into rehab for saying the word faggot. I'm curious as to what that rehab entailed.

Vick is proof that excrement comes in human form.

If the legal system and/or the NFL drops the ball on this, it would be worse than baseball and steroids, IMO.

Let's hope he's tried in Cuore d'Alene.

I know you're not dumb enough to really think that. The legacy of MLB's most cherished records being tainted v. an overhyped QB being indicted for dog fighting.

I wouldn't put too much stock in a grand jury indictment. The famous quote about the grand jury is that a prosecutor could persuade them to indict a ham sandwich.

Understood and you're right really, but I'm not so much talking about the grand jury indictment. I'm talking about Vick eventually going unpunished.

I just think that Vick is a piece of shit and should not be allowed the privilege of ever playing football professionally again. I'm sick of celebrities and athletes getting breaks that most folks wouldn't get.

One of the things that the radio station legal folks keep saying is, "this isn't some DA with an agenda in North Carolina. This is a federal investigation, they get this right 95% of the time, and it almost always leads to conviction."

As I understand it, as of right now, Vick faces 6 years and a $350,000 fine.
