She is 65.5. That is old to be running 22 miles on a training run.

She does it because she is vain. She loves the medals she gets in the marathons.

My mother did the 50/20 a few years back. I still don't know how she did it. Then a couple of year later, just to prove it wasn't a fluke, she did it again.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is a 50/20? A quick google search kept referencing Genesis 50:20. And I quote, "You intended to harm me,...".

It's an activity supported by BSA (Boy Scouts of America). You try to walk/run 50 miles in 20 hours or less. Our ward did it last summer. We are going to do it again in a year or two.

I guess maybe she is scared that she might come in 2nd place this year.
