Default Happy May day everybody!

Let's celebrate this communist holiday by remembering what communism has given the world:

65 million (and counting) slaughtered in China
20 million slaughtered in the Soviet Union
2 million (and counting) slaughtered in North Korea
2 million slaughtered in Cambodia
1.7 million slaughtered in Africa
1.5 million slaughtered in Afghanistan
1 million slaughtered in Vietnam
1 million slaughtered in communist Eastern Europe
150,000 slaughtered in Latin America.

Almost 100 million lives sacrificed for the common good.

Thank you Karl Marx.

On the bright side, the reduced demand is helping to keep gas prices down.

May Day was really an American holiday. Also, it is currently celebrated all over the world. It is more a "Hooray for the Working Class!" holiday, not a "Communism is Rad!" holiday.

You sure know how to ruin a celebration.

I've heard about it being an International Workers Day (celebrated mostly in communist and socialist countries and members of the Communist Party here in the US), but never have I heard it referenced to an American holiday.

If you'd like to point me in the right direction to read about it, I'll take a look.

I apologize. But don't let those little numbers stop you from dancing around the pole. Just dance your troubles away my friend.

I thought May Day was some ancient pagan holiday replete with a fertility ritual where young maidens intertwined crepe paper around a big pole.
