the week before an election? The stuff in Virginia and Tennessee is comical and depressing. All the sparring over who insulted the soldiers (kerry or boehner? Both? Neither?) I am sure that it is just the tip of the iceberg as I have heard of a lot of shenanigans in house and local races. No wonder people don't vote in high numbers, everyone is just disgusted with politicians in general.

Well said. I think both major parties are full of idiots with only their own self interests at the top of their agenda. For that reason, I've decided to vote either a Libertarian or Constitution party straight ticket. The plus in that is I only have to click one icon or push one button or however it's going to be done here in Utah this year.
