Is that a good thing or a bad thing in your opinion?

More properly worded, "Some who are offended by a simple MD citation may just be looking to be offended."

I don't think he had any such intent. It seemed to me that he thought using MD as an authoritative reference was natural.
Then he is so old that he skipped about four decades and shouldn't be a discussion leader. The fact he thought it was authoritative shows he isn't well-informed.

Sounds like you don't need us. Your priesthood teacher's providing plenty of entertainment.

Trust me, I let 99% of the crap I hear in church pass without comment. Like today in GD class when a sister exclaimed that her idea of the celestial kingdom would be Christmas music and the "spirit of Christmas" twelve months a year. It was all I could do to bite my tongue on that one. That's my idea of hell.

Are you serious? What about The Forgotten Carols? What about Kurt Bestor?

That's a wise decision.

When at giorl's camp this year I was up in the mountains with the 4th year grils at the tail end of a hike and we had a testiony meeting. They asked the three brethern to share thei testimonies, and we did. One of the brothers mad a commetn that I peronsally feel was of dubious dcotrinal truthfulness, but I certaionly didn't say anything at the time as the spriti at the meeting was quite strong. Today, some months later, a YW sopke in church and commented that she had found his comments on this very topic very faith affirming and had thought of them almost every day since she heard them. She then gave an excellent talk on a good topic. The point is that sometimes what may seem like information of dubious origin to one person may lead another to a spiritual progression, as apparently happened here.

Can you imagine a CG quorum. I think Adam would be the perfect DL for this group.

There are good reasons for them being forgotten. They should've stayed forgotten.

More properly worded? What Arch has mentioned and what you are suggesting are completely distinct.

And now you're going to guess about intent? Hilarious.

And you've called into question the idea that "mullahs" even exist.

And you're contempt is nauseating.

Talk about a bad show. What you've done is 4th rate trolling.
