Here is what he promised in his Iowa acceptance speech. Health care for all, tax cuts for the middle class, bring the troops home, stop the terrorist, have the world love us again (how naive is that, they have never loved us), bring jobs back from abroad, have everyone get along, a bi-partisan love fest.

Hillary is trying to point that out, but no one wants to hear Jim Baker can't deliver, not even Tammy Fae.
He basically has no record, so he can say and do anything. Thus he's an agent of change because he's never done anything and will promise everything. People are unfortunately dumb enough to buy that crock of ...

But he speaks with such conviction and emotion. He's been endorsed by Oprah freaking Winfrey.

Our density awaits.

Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith.

He may well be bright, but being bright doesn't make one a great and wise politician. If that were the sole criteria, we should just do a national IQ test and select the guy or gal with the highest IQ.

We need a Romney, McCain ticket with McCain being VP.

Well a ticket with his foreign policy expertise and Romney's business expertise would be great.

After having Cheney railroad Bush, we probably won't see that from McCain.

I don't know much about Obama's ancestry other than it's not all African descent. We make such a big a deal about skin color when that has little to do with ancestry or cultural heritage. And in his case, it does little to tell us about his genetic heritage.

Yes I am aware of the history of race relations, sociological constructs, artificial and meaningless.
To paraphrase Rush Limbaugh a few years back, "Because the media establishment has an interest in seeing blacks do well." Sports, politics, whatever ... there is a segment of society transfixed with race because if a black man does well, somehow in their warped worlds that means they are not racists.

Thus we have Cali Coug, among others, oodling over a black man winning in virtually-all-white Iowa. Oh, the shock of it all! How could it be, that Democrat white farmers are not nearly so racist as we thought they were?! Glory day!
