Perhaps my attitude is strange, but I don't believe we're getting the whole story.

I don't think wanting to hear an accurate account from both sides before deciding which side to take - if there is a side to take - is strange. But then, there seems to be several folks on CB who think they know everything there is to know about anything just beause they once visited someplace or know somebody who did visit someplace.

I don't think we can abandon Israel, but I don't think we should be too quick to defend them either. Quite honestly, if it were up to me, I'd sit back and watch what happens and then side with whoever obliterates the other.

I had a similar encounter with Dirty Water. He made some sweeping claim that "racism rarely exists cause white people say it doesn't," and never defends the claim and just calls me oversensitive.
