Now it doesn't count if two opposing tax hikes are in, and you vote for one and not the other.

And for the record, there have been bond issues which I have supported. When it's local and the money stays locally, I can see the wisdom of expenditure increases.

However, I'm researching Obama, and can't find any tax increases he hasn't voted for. He favors all tax increases, and not only is he pro choice, he's further than that. He's pro Abortion. It may only be a rhetorical distinction for you, but Babs was the first to discover the evidence. I can understand a Harry Reid type position of pro choice, but for a candidate to actually be PRO abortion, those candidates are few and far between.

This man is a true blue liberal zealot. And that's scary.

Of course I oppose some tax hikes. I would oppose anything that would take us back to the tax rates of the 1980s, for example. I also would oppose tax hikes for the middle and lower class. I would favor moderate tax hikes for the upper class if necessary. When you talk about Obama being in favor of all tax increases, you must know it simply isn't true. The issue is far more complex than that. From what I have seen, his views are fairly close to mine on the issue.
