I want to go hiking in Utah this weekend
while I'm there.
Does it look like the weather will cooperate with me on that? I've been slacking off at the gym lately, and the altitude is usually something to take into account when hiking in Utah. How long of a hike is Timp? Maybe I'll just have to settle for hiking up to the Y. If I get really ambitious and can find someone willing to devote the whole day to the excursion I might try Maple Lake. |

Weather should be good this weekend. Since you're accustomed to sea level, I'd hike Timp from the Timpanookee trailhead up A.F. canyon. It's a bit longer (18 mi. round trip I think). But not too steep. Should take 7-8 hours round trip. |
