I bonked on Saturday big time. My buddy is training for St. George, so I decided to go with him on his 16 miler. I have what doctors like to call a little bit of a sweating problem, so I have to take a lot of water with me.

The problem was, he was going too slow. I was expecting to be done with the run in a little under 2 1/2 hours, but we were out there over 2 hours and had barely reached 11 miles. And I was out of water. It didn't take long until I was toast. I felt horrible for messing up his LSD run and I tried to get him to go without me, but apparently I looked like shiz and he refused to leave. He walked me to Smith's, bought me a Powerade and waited for my wife to come get me. Then he ran home.

Not a good day. But it's hard for me to complain too much, I found out that I have a pretty good friend.
