Yes, you're probably much more bearable when you're not burdened by the need to correct my behavior and parent me. :-)

One time cougjunkie was all accosting aussiecoug on CB and I verbally beat the stuffin' out of him.

I think rescuing a damsel in distress should qualify me.

I think I had just read a book with the title "Tavern Knight" when I signed up on this site mabye 6 months ago or something like that? I usually suck at picking my board monikers, I always think of something better later.

I should have been Bernie Mac, I was Bernie Mac one time on CB for a day ... " 'Merica, Bernie Mac don't gotta tell you what happened when they found out I was Bernie Mac".

I've got to admit, "Bernie Mac" is pretty fresh. If you're not going to use it, do you mind if I do?

Sure, go ahead. However, if I see you having too much fun with it and I get jealous, I may have to start using "The Mac Man".

I do GIS work, work from home which is good and bad, been married 10 years, have four great kids (I'm not saying how many bad ones).

I'm short, fat, and bald, but I did get laser eye surgery, so at least I don't wear glasses any more.

I'm Cougarboard's version of the anti-Christ due to a series of unfortunate events. I don't hate any one, not even some of the CB mods ... I just hate the things they DO.
Hey, I'm a GIS person, too. Have a degree in geography. Love maps. But I don't make the maps/databases, I use GIS to create spatial attributes for the data I'm working with, then port the data and conduct spatial/statistical analyses. Very interesting work, and it tends to impress people (even if it is a poorly done analysis) because few people have seen it before. So I'm not really good with GIS, I've just learned enough to get by.

Oh, and we might be related - I'm short, fat, (not quite bald yet), wear glasses, and have four kids as well. Scary.

Yea, I probably fit the definition of a nerd pretty well.

I won't be at the conference, but I'm considering the 2008 ESRI Health GIS Conference in DC at the end of September.
