I think you'll like it on CG. Welcome.
Oh, like you'd even know what it was like around here lately.

Hi Barbara, hi Hyrum. I am glad to see another Normanite too. I even graduated high school from Norman, though I did not go on to become a surgeon. Boomer Sooner, baby. I don't know AAHKS is, though. Does that mean I suck?

Welcome Wendy. I am a former Dallasite, (but my knockers aren't plastic). It's great to have another woman on the board.

Thanks, Marsupial. I thought it smelled a little testosterone-y in here myself. Glad to be here. Thanks, SoonerCoug, for turning me on. To this forum. Perverts.

Welcome Wendy.

You wouldn't happen to be Wendy of Wendy's Hamburgers fame would you?

If you are, then that's way cool. If not, then I forgive you.

Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith.

You people say that like they would be a bad thing. There I was believing you liberal mormon women were liberated.

Welcome Wendy! Since I also live in Dallas, and maybe we could meet up for a mani/pedi sometime if you promise not to be intimidated by my perfectly coiffed Dallas hair and my sculpted nose. Or we could meet up at Neiman Marcus. I have kids, but don't worry, my nanny can take them to storytime while we shop.

Oh, and if you let my husband set you up with someone, you might want to be careful. He doesn't exactly consider compatibility, the only thing be brings into consideration is that both parties are single.

My matchmaking philosophy:
If they are single and they both know me then they have two things in common and that's more than a lot of married couples have.
