Heck, I didnt even think they would make it past the Spurs. No need to hold anything back.

All I can say is that I'm very impressed with the defensive effort Boston's made in this series. After their road woes early in the post-season, I thought for sure they'd have trouble with the Lakers.
To Boston's credit, they're the only team this post-season that's made the Laker's bench look bad. Kudos to them.

Does anyone know what the Vegas favorite was when the series began? I'm not being sarcastic; honest question. Boston had home court and won 66 games, but they were facing the almighty Kobe & Phil.

I didn't check. I know that pretty much every major publication from ESPN to Fox Sports overwhelmingly picked the Lakers. I don't think many 'experts' expected Boston's D to be this effective against the Lakers.

I was in SoCal all of last week, thus the sports talk radio was all Laker-based. One "expert" after the other said things like they would be surprised if it went past five games. Another said he was able to choose whether to attend games 3, 4, or 5, and he said game 5 is out because there was a good chance the series wouldn't even go that far.
