Koreans probably consume more garlic per capita than anyone in the world. When you get off the plane in Seoul, the garlic smell hits you like a wave.

I had two Korean roommates for a semester.

The house constantly smelled of kimchi.

But they were great roommates in every other way, so I never complained.
