Eric Weddle was baptized while at the U. Where's the poll about Utah athletics as a missionary tool?
Sure his LDS girlfriend prior to college had something to do with it, but we all know it was being around an LDS sensitive coach like Urban Meyer, followed by the Moutain West's honest Abe, Kyle Whittingham. |

Then I think you're just splitting definitional hairs. All joking aside, no reasonable person thinks the Spirit habitually testifies at sporting events. When someone says "missionary tool" they are most likely referring to missionary fringe benefits as the result of good PR.

It is splitting hairs and verbage and all of that. But, there is a difference between a missionary tool (videos, tracts, etc) and a publicity tool like byu athletics, ambassadors, etc. That's my only point.
