are tramping through my state. In the last three weeks we've had Edwards, Romney, Clinton, and Obama. No doubt Rudy will be along shortly. We're still a year and a half out and the media is already in horse race mode! In fact, it seems to only have three modes:

Stump Speech Sound Bites

Horse race and/or Poll (they love doing these because they're cheap, guaranteed stories that require little thought)

Mindless Commentary/Speculation
