Considering the collusion that has and is still going on do you think Romney would run as an indepedant simply to stick it to McCain?

Agreed, it would be funny though.

I think Romney is better off sitting this one out, and then running again in '12. He is well positioned to be the front runner for the Repubs if McCain loses in November this year.

That'd be cool if he ran, but that would ensure a dem win and he'd piss off a lot of Republicans, eliminating any chance of a '12 run. I wonder if Nader will run and give the election to McCain. Who would Bloomberg hurt?
