Default Drudge has exit numbers

EXITS: McCain 34.3%, Romney 32.6%, Giuliani 15.3%, Huckabee 12%...

That's it, no more info regarding sample size or anything. I'd say it's too close to call based on a spread of less than 2% in the exit polls. It could take a while before a victor is determined. Either way, with a finish this close, the race will move on to Feb 5.

Pelagius already called it. It's over. Bummer, but I think this is the end of the Romney bid. Pending on how popular Hillary is in four years, we may get another go of it.

You're already giving Hillary the victory over McCain? I think McCain or Romney could beat her. I think Obama would be more difficult to beat, especially for McCain. The young upstart, Kennedy-esque Obama vs. the old geezer McCain?

I'd like to just remind folks that this is Florida. I urge caution in trusting exit polls and premature predictions.

Official numbers are coming in. The lead would change every so often, but now (with 12% of the numbers in) McCain's got a 3% lead.

I think this is the end of the road for Romney. Florida was going to be the big prize he wasn't supposed to win. He'll fight it out until the fat lady sings, but I think it's pretty much over now.

Romney's 0 for 4 now in contested states. He spent $ like crazy. Thompson dropped out right at the right time for him. He needed this one.

Giuliani must be shell shocked. To go from legitimate front runner to absolute no show in about 8 or so weeks is unthinkable. no melt downs, no public faux pas, no secret scandals. Just strategic ineptitude.

What does this do to his lucrative corporate speaking gigs?
