Lesson 18 (Gospel Doctrine): The In-Crowd, Unrealistic Elements, and Irony
Once again, its time for your weekly dose of gospel doctrine fun and high jinks. Here are my lesson notes for gospel doctrine lesson 18. The lesson covers both Luke chapter 15 and 17. I didn't make it past Luke chapter 15. Actually, I didn't make it past the first 10 verses of chapter 15. However, I would be happy to discuss anything related parable of the prodigal son which comprises the part of chapter 15 that my notes do not cover.

This week's sunday school lesson went as follows for us. A full classroom patiently awaited for a teacher to show up-- but none did. A member of the bishopric asked for somebody who had been home from their mission for less than 6 months to raise their hand. This man was then appointed on the spot to teach the lesson.
He sounded like somebody who had been appointed on the spot to teach the lesson.

Thanks for posting your lesson outlines, Pelagius - it's especially helpful, since you appear to be a little ahead of our class - I'm going to appear pretty smart when we get to this lesson!

I did have my Novum Testamentum with me, though. I learned something, even if nobody else did.

Oops, sorry, the PDF link for the lesson notes was screwed-up. It is fixed now.
