Mike, can our resident benevolent dictator (I think that's you) instate a moratorium on "hey isn't this news story HORRIBLE" threads?

What's the point of sharing these stories? To see whose stomach can do the biggest flipflop?

Reminds me of watching my mom host a church tea party last month. Her conversation openers kept consisting of lines like: "Did you SEE the one about the cannibal in Texas who ate the twelve year old girl? Just shameful!"

When I hinted that perhaps this is not what the women would like to discuss, she switched to "Can you BELIEVE about Reggie Bush?? Surely they'll take the Heisman away!! I never did trust those Trojans. Nosirree." Then she kept offering the women imported beers instead of tea.

It was really funny watching the other ladies of the church. I'm pretty sure they've never been to a tea party like that before.

I can totally see how the headline referencing gruesome killings is misleading.
