I know it's a terribly difficult decision, but it is often the least educated that are the most reluctant to pull the plug in futile situations.

Interesting that she considers dying hooked up to a respirator as "natural". Wouldn't it be more natural to take him off the respirator? He can't breathe naturally without the respirator - it is giving him artificial breath. Obviously she's emotional (understandable) because she certainly isn't logical.
