Default A Saint on Death Row

I came across this book:
http://www.amazon.com/Saint-Death-Ro...4530_as_txt_2/

I read the blurbs there on Amazon.

I read this from the National Catholic Reporter:
http://findarticles.com/p/articles/m...41/ai_n8693783

Then I read this:

The bar for sainthood is awfully low these days.

I suppose if you just live your life, work hard, take care of your own, help others from time to time, you are a nothing.

But rob, steal, victimize, and kill? Now you are getting somewhere. And people will start to pay attention. Change just a little bit, and people will be crowing and mooning over you.

I am reminded of the parable of the prodigal son. We can rejoice at change in peoples' lives. We should.

But let's not forget to rejoice in the people who choose to do the RIGHT thing.

No remorse is found anywhere in that statement. He just thinks himself a victim.

A Saint indeed.
