Default Abusive belief system

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,351753,00.html

As I have said before, it there is actual abuse, that's one thing. But an abusive belief system?

Quote:
Obedience is a very important element of their belief system," said psychiatrist Bruce Perry, who interviewed three girls seized in the April 3 raid. "Compliance is being godly, it's part of their honoring God."
We better stop teaching primary kids the 10 commandments or having them sing "Follow The Prophet" or such things.

Welcome to Amerika. I'm starting to lean more and more libertarian in my views.

It is an abusive belief system. You have teenage girls who have been programmed to believe that God wants them getting banged by middle-aged men. How is that not abusive?

If there is abuse, great. But to impugn an entire "belief system"?

If he was smarter he would have said "particular aspects of the belief system are abusive, based on my study of the group".

But you know who signs up for these kinds of cases? Egotistical narcissitic publicity-hogs. Are they prone to overstate their case? Yes.

All belief systems are abuse.

My point exactly. People like SU could start using this as a reason to take children away from all Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, etc.

Secularism = okay. Anything else = abuse.

Great idea.

The way SU and his wife pay dumb people to take care of their kids, in order to make more money and do "important" things. Well, that's abuse. Their kids should be taken away.

SU is not worried. He sees a godless future. The tables will not be turned. But what he forgot is that the godless don't have kids. The future belongs to God.

My children's teachers are brilliant. I have five children.
