This is not simply the activities of individual members, and you know it.
I shorten his argument to one word: bankrupt. It's much faster.

When we first moved into our home, there was a gay couple who lived two doors down. They were good guys who were the ones who would organize street BBQs for holidays, such as Memorial Day, July 4th, etc. Fun times.

We invited them a few times to eat at our home, but they always declined.

I was responding to Mike accusing my post of being bankrupt.

How so? Because you are the self appointed moral czar?

I know many openly gay people. There are very few people - gay or straight - that I would invite to my home for dinner.

I was there last night and I really enjoyed it.

I was against the LDS effort on Prop 8 beforehand, because of how my local leaders were handling things. But after watching last night I am behind the effort completely.

I will post more about it later tonight. I am busy at work today.

And here is my disclaimer...

I have 2 gay uncles. And I also have a gay aunt. They all have partners that I love to death. They have eaten meals at my house, we have held family Christmas at my house. I have stayed at their houses as have my family.

I still am Yes on Prop. 8

More later tonight.

I have, but it wasnt for a meal, it was to have promiscuous unprotected sex.

Now you have me thinking that I should host meals, instead.

This explains why you want to shuttle me off to some mexican restaurant in Midvale.
