The rankings are a joke.
Look at how volatile they are:
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/rankings?pollId=1 OK State jumps 9 spots to #8? A Florida team with one loss to an unranked opponent jumps 6 spots? LSU falls 9 spots? This makes me think that we may not even get into the BCS should 2-3 other teams win out even with these other conferences cannibalizing each other.

I still don't understand either how TCU is still just sniffing the top 25. I thought for sure they'd have cracked the rankings again giving this BYU game a bit more clout.
