I think I must be an adult
And it freaking sucks. Today should be one of the more exciting games I get to go to this year, and instead of the unwavering belief that the team I am cheering for will win, I am getting ready to go to the game almost full well knowing that they will lose. However I think they will give effort for 60 minutes and will play and exciting game against one of the giants of college football, so instead of being disappointed by the eventual loss I am still pretty pumped to go to the game.
I miss the days of my youth where expecting a lesser team to beat a great team was all I knew how to do. I even kind of miss the heartbreak and disappointment that came after the loss, and the eventual change in mindset back to my team can get them next time! USC 30 Oregon 24 in a beautiful day in Eugene. Last edited by HuskyFreeNorthwest; 10-27-2007 at 03:27 PM. Reason: Again I am not smart enough to get it right the first time. |

Don't grow up too fast. That must have been a fun game to attend.
