Did you serve with Elder Talbot from Preston, ID too? God bless that man for introducing me to the way, the truth and life.

And curse Elder Ashton for serving me mac-n-cheese mixed with Ramen Noodles for 3 months straight when it was his turn to cook. But thats to be saved for another thread. I'd hate to spoil a perfectly good PB thread with that filth.

Almost anything is improved with the drenching of REAL maple syrup, as I learned on my mission in Quebec. Unfortunately, this also leads to an entire province with no one over the age of 20 that has all of their own teeth, but all the food is sweet!

That actually sounds good. I think I will try it sometime. But I think the best way to eat peanut butter is with a spoon, straight from the jar.

Totally. Also good on gala apples.

I eat peanut butter on my pancakes, but no syrup (too sugary). Take one whole-grain pancake, top with natural applesauce (the applesauce soaks in), spread pb on top. yummy yummy.

Thanks BG. You've just spoiled my PB fantasy. You had me until Whole wheat and applesauce (and natural, at that). We were doing perfectly fine until you had to go and turn this into a health food discussion.

Keep it simple. Buttermilk pancake, crunchy PB, homemade maple syrup. End of discussion (to be read in my most authoritative voice).

Sorry, gotta stick to my guns on this one.

But if it helps any, I make a mean brownie peanut butter hot fudge sundae.

When I host the Tulsa tailgate you'll have to try one.

I would love one. Is the Tulsa tailgate in Northern California? If not, then Houston, we may have a problem.

I just checked Mapquest and Tulsa is a mere 8 hours and 53 minutes from our new home in Mississippi (which we will move into next month). I'd drive that far for a mean brownie peanut butter hot fudge sundae any day. Also, do you think we could invite Big Fat Meanie? Cougar fans cannot live by peanut butter, chocolate and ice cream alone. We need some good Thai food, too.

Your peanut butter tastes are way out of whack. First of all, natural chunky is the only way to go. Second of all, combining applesauce with peanut butter? Nasty. Do you pervert your sundaes with creamy peanut butter? You ought to be ashamed.
