Default Anyone bake their own pizza?

I made a killer pizza this weekend, baked it on a stone.

The recipe was super simple and well worth it.

Dough:

3 C of flour
1 tsp of salt
1/3 C of olive oil

mix

1 Tablespoon of yeast
1 1/4 C of warm water
1 tsp of sugar

mix

Combine all ingredients, mix and let raise.

Topping:

1 Chicken breast (cooked in favorite seasonings, I like cooking it in olive oil with parsley, basil, garlic salt, pepper)

1/2 C brown sugar
1/2 C Frank's Red hot
Mozzarella Cheese to liking

Combine brown sugar and Frank's and heat, cook the chicken breast and add into the mixture.

Roll out pizza dough onto baking stone, form crust, add strips of cheese, add the chicken mixture, and top with additional cheese.

Cook at 450 for 15-17 minutes.

Serve with Ranch.

A solid meal, little prep time, and good tasting.

Mrs. Hippie does a BBQ Chicken, Chicken Alfredo and some new thing that she actually cooks outside on the BBQ that has fresh basil and olive oil and some other crap on it.

It's pretty freakin' good.

I'll have to get it from Mrs. Hippie...

As far as my instructions go...

Sit on couch.

Listen carefully for voice of Mrs. Hippie.

Spring like a tiger from the tall grass.

Eat.

Sorry please forgive my ignorance; although I cook a little myself, what does "baked it on a stone" mean? Using a stone pan in a conventional oven?

I cook pizza on an air-bake pan. It has holes in it to make the crust crispier.

I think he means using a special ceramic-like pan to cook it in a conventional oven.

I'm with Farrah -- I prefer the pans with holes.

Tobias: No, it never does. I mean, these people somehow delude themselves into thinking it might, but...but it might work for us.
