"Briefly misspeaking about Sunni and Shiite?" It wasn't one press conference. If it was, sure- give the guy a pass. It was over 7 different times, including at least once AFTER the famous press conference. He had been repeating the same claim over the course of a two month period, and he still would be but for Lieberman telling him it wasn't true in front of the press.

Either he actually doesn't know the difference, or he is senile. Either way doesn't look enticing to me.
