we already have a (typically) straight man who is called into young women. This is the bishopric counselor who is assigned to oversee the YW program.

you do realize that BSA allowing gay leaders doesn't mean that the church troops will have gay leaders, right?

BSA allows female scoutmasters, but I've never seen a ward with one.
