Is it possible, ....say...that Landis' sponsor pressured him into using testosterone?

I mean, sounds pretty stupid to use it 'during' the race...it was a no brainer he would be caught.

However, it DID get Phonak into the spotlight and headlines for how long? It DID get them into the headlines for one of the the most amazing comeback in TdF history. To most people, Landis/Phonak IS the TdF winner...and even if they strip him of the win, who is going to remember the 'runner up' that was given the trophy? Who is going to remember that sponsor?

I wonder if $$$ might have made Landis compromise his integrity. After all...his hip is going to be replaced, and he may never compete again.

Something to think about.

I doubt it. The sponsor has said they will likely end sponsorship of the team.
