I don't know what to say. You haven't made a statement that can be addressed. You are playing "read my mind" and sorry, I don't have the time to try and read your mind.

Here's the thing. I bet it is an amazing Scout troop that I would want my boys to be involved in and not because of the money.

YOU don't have time to read my mind? Maybe I hit the nail so squarely on the head it put you to sleep.

You have to make a point first before it can be conceded. By the way your comments in this thread only reinforces my point. Keep it up, you'll help me hammer my thoughts home!

What a series of threadjacks here.

Are you seriously arguing tooblue, if you withdrew the American members, money and leadership from the Church, it would survive?

What would be its center without SLC?

On a much grander scale, what happened to Christian sects which rejected Rome?

Your argument is simply an attempt to bicker, not to make a valid point.

It's an attempt to expose the abject arrogance prevalent in yours and Mikes' statements. Seriously, yours and Mike's views are so woefully skewed you cannot recognize the myopia for what it is.

Note to Archea and Mike: I do not live in the mission field

The tares are in the process of being gathered up.
This is ridiculous.

The Church changes. People who criticized the Church in the past (over a myriad of policies and beliefs) have frequently been proven correct when the Church eventually came around to their view.

A close relative of mine harassed President Kimball (in a nice way) for years about the Priesthood ban and guess what? She was one of many who helped change the Church into her "own personal image" -- the image of tolerance in place of the image of ignorance and bigotry.

People who are supremely confident that they can easily distinguish the wheat from the tares are either purposefully ignorant or stupid (or both). It's not that easy.

Mullahs are on the run. That's the take-home lesson.
