I would have to run with the Arby's also. Having worked many years there, sampled all the food, and conjured up a lot that wasn't on the menu, I still love their food.

My favorite is probabbly Carls' Jr. The $6 Burgers are the best fast food burgers on the market. They also have more specialty burgers than anyplace else. And hopefully they would let me bring Paris Hilton along with me on the island. I'd be okay with that. |

Bastard. We don't have those in Utah. At least we have Big Ben's in Roy and Layton which is quality grub. Since I've never eaten at In N Out I can't compare... and now I'm leary to do so because of all the hype. |

I just don't understand why people love In-n-Out
Now that someone has resurrected this thread I'll chip in my two cents:

Also, I just don't understand why people love InO's fries. To me, they seem cardboardy and bland. The way people yap on and on about how good their burgers are also puzzles me. The burgers are good but they're not THAT good. For a burger-type fast food place I'm a Carl's Jr. man (I cried like a baby when Carl's Jr. took chili cheese fries off their menu last month). Regarding Hardess: All the old Dees hamburger joints (as opposed to Dees restaurants which are still in operation) in Utah were sold to the Hardees chain back in the 1980s. Dees sucked and getting bought out by Hardees didn't improve their suckiness. Later on, all the Hardees in Utah got converted to something else (can't remember what). Anyway, it appears that Hardees is now associated with Carl's Jr. but if it's the same Hardees-that-bought-out-Dees-that-used-to-have-sucky-food-back-in-the-1980s chain then their food definitely can't compare to Carl's Jr. I would rank my favorite burger-type fast food places as follows: Carl's Jr Crownburger (A Utah thing) Wendy's In-n-Out (Because I live in South Jordan and there aren't any InOs here, this ranking doesn't really count; however, if there were InOs here I would rank them thusly) Burger King McDonalds Dairy Queen Arctic Circle (Another Utah thing) So, if I get a genie on my desert island and I'm forced to make a wish for a fast food place (as opposed to making a wish for, say, a supermodel to keep me company) then I'm going to have to go with Carl's Jr. |

The best fast food joints are Astroburgers and Burger Supreme. Absolutely the best burgers and fries. Dont forget the fry sauce.
Crown burger is ok, but they put relish in the fry sauce and it really ruins it, makes it too sweet. In-n-Out is good for when I go to Vegas or California. It is especially great when you consider how cheap it is. But it isnt as good as AstroBurgers or Burger Supreme. |
