The entire world screams "BUT SHE WON A SILVER, YOU SHOULD BE HAPPY FOR HER."

Sure, that makes sense. But that isn't perfection. Personally, I wish this guy was MY coach. A dying breed, that man, who demands absolute perfection. Took this woman from nothing to almost the top of the world. People want him to be both successful and a nice guy. Screw them.
