I now know of at least one way to get out of a bishopric, should it ever be necessary (which, owing to revelaiton, it shouldn't be). I'm thinking an easy read verson of the pearl of great price ought to do it.

In my case I think "I run cougarguard" ought to do the trick. Of course since we are so small and anonyous, I would have to go out of my way to publicize the fact.

I have a replica of the 1830 edition. No chapters, no verse numbers, just long paragraphs. The only thing different is some of the grammar... but I enjoy reading it.
