worst example of church justice i have ever seen or heard of....

a stake president and a lady have an adulterous relationship for about 6 months.

she goes to her bishop, begs and pleads for him to go confess as well.

he finally does so, she gets excommunicated he gets disfellowshipped....

As I understand it, ward clerk is typically asked to attend for record keeping purposes, etc.

In the absence of clerk, Exec sec may be asked to substitute.

Default My friend that was disfellowshipped. . .

When my friend was disfellowshipped she was asked who the other party involved was. My question is what happens if you refuse to name names? My attitude would basically be that if the other person wants to confess then they can confess. I would have a real hard time telling the council the other person was, especially if it were someone in the ward. What happens if you refuse to name the person?

Default it probably is counted against you

in the decision making process. Not having been on either side of the aisle, I don't know though.

Fus, that is very hard to believe. Do you know this guy? Or is it a 2nd hand report? There was a member of the SP where I lived that did the same thing but the results were just the opposite. He= ex'd and she= disfellowshipped.
