Default It's official: There's no draft conspiracy in the NBA

Portland and Seattle get the 1 and 2 picks which do basically nothing for the NBA away from the west coast. If there was a conspiracy Boston would be picking #1.

I wonder if this will help keep the Sonics in Seattle?

I hope so. It would be a sham if Seattle didn't have a pro basketball team.

I think the Sonics are moving to Oklahoma City.
I've heard the Seattle-ites don't want them anymore anyway, and we've got a hole here as the Hornets have decided to move back to New Orleans. Which, I believe, is where the Jazz started out. I'm so confused.

Leaving Seattle, really? I thought when they meant Seattle they meant the city itself, not the whole metro area.

New Orleans has the Hornets, which are sort of a symbol of Utah (well honeybee, anyway). Utah has the Jazz, which is a symbol of New Orleans.

I have a message for the Sonics. Shove it. (I used to have season tickets courtside.)

And the Seattle Sonics are owned by a group of guys from Oklahoma City, which already owns Sonic. Odd but true. Pro sports make no sense to me. Kindly wake me up for the pigskin classic.

What have they done to deserve this ire? Is it the NBA as a whole or just the Sonics?
