1. How come Gates and his neighbors do not seem to be acquainted?

2. How come Gates did not produce an ID for the police when the policeman explained he was responding to a call that alleged a break in? But instead accused the policeman of racism?

I think Gates is a very, very happy man right now.

I'm certainly not for a police state. I really believe there are many bad cops out there.

But (and I may be wrong), I'm betting Gates is an angry asshole.
