how about, for starters, everyone stop eating processed junk food and start exercising and stop drinking and smoking.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that unhealthy people are going to cost more money.

It looks like the current plan is a poorly thought out fiasco at this point.

I think obama is more concerned that he get a bill quickly than he cares what the bill is. If a bill were to be done in the next couple of weeks that would be a disaster because the public has not started to really pay attention yet. And Obama knows that the more scrutiny there is, the more likely the socialistic elements will be stripped.

Exactly. Obama is a hardcore socialist but he doesn't want it known quite yet. He'll be fine admitting it after it's too late.
