Right- because anyone who holds a tea party must be identical to those who held the original tea party, and the person they are protesting must be identical to King George.

I will be there tomorrow to watch the hilarity unfold.

There's a new school of thinking that the British were not being unreasonable asking for some taxes to keep the sea lanes safe for American trade, building roads and other infrastructure, and generally imposing a rule of law and orderly and civilized environment in America. This may be closer to the truth than what we learned in primary school.

Gee, I wonder who's promulgating this new school of thinking.

It isn't a new school of thought. It was around at the time the tea party was thrown and has existed ever since. That is, in part, why so many of the Founding Fathers believed the original tea party to be criminal and unethical. That and the destruction of private property and the chicanery of blaming the Indians.

The question wasn't whether taxes were reasonable or not. It was a matter of having a voice in setting the level of taxation.
