it's not necessarily by state. City government employees, private businesses etc.

When Gavin Newsome legalized gay marriages on his own, San Francisco immediately moved to get rid of domestic partnership benefits.

Regarding the assertion that lesbians tend to be very monogamous (which was news to me today). I asked my brother about it. And he says, "Have you heard the joke? What does a Lesbian bring to a second date?"

"I don't know," I say.

"A U-haul."

A subculture that I had absolutely no idea about. I wonder if the church is aware of it.
