this morning I was drawing shapes on my 2 year old daughter's doodle pad and I went through the shapes (Circle, square, trapezoid (she likes them) etc...) and I put a

We also only live 4 hours away, the rest of my yewt kin all live 3 days away ... and Mrs. Red Deaths' family most certainly are BYU fans. He needs to come to terms with it now so it doesn't hurt as much later!

Cute story. My 20 month old is infatuated with Cosmo. When she drinks from her BYU sippy cup, she says "Go Coogoocat!"
I do have an embarassing confession to make regarding my sweet little girl and the University of Utah. Last summer we were in Utah and she came down with a nasty double ear infection, she was a year old at the time. She couldn't sleep at night and had a difficult time getting comfortable. One day we stopped by Dick's Sporting Goods at the Gateway. We walked across a bin of those silky, bean bag pillows. I picked one up for her to play with and she immediately perked up. She began hugging it and rubbing her face along the pillow. It was the first time in a week or so that she really seemed like she was in a good mood. Unfortunately, the pillow was red and was emblazened with a University of Utah logo. I searched for a BYU pillow, but they were unsurprisingly sold out. I didn't have the heart to take it away from her and I ended up buying it. She now sleeps with it and it is one of her favorite comforts. I figure if Palo Alto Coug can send his daughter to the MUSS, then this isn't too bad. |

When my son was two he found us working on the taxes. He said "Taxes is BAD!!!" and attempted his best down-horns handsign. (Apparently my mother had been instructing him.) |

My 5 year old son prayed about "no knock-knock jokes" the other night. I asked why, and he said he just didn't like them.
I'm going to pray about brussel sprouts tonight. |

Later, we all laughed our butts off at the Ute cheerleaders forming the double loser sign on all free throw attempts... |
