Default Watch a couple more DVD's

I've been sick and so I've just been taking it easy watching some movies.

I watched "Lady in the Water"....wow...this was just an awful movie. I can't believe I watched it all the way through. M. Night Shymalan went way downhill with this pathetic movie.

Also watched "The Guardian".....not as bad as I thought it would be. It's hard for me to take anything remotely serious with Ashton Kutcher involved, but it was again, was more entertaining than I thought it would be. Nothing great, but worth viewing one time.

Flags of Our Fathers -- The book was much better, but I still enjoyed the movie. I look forward to seeing "Letters from Iwo Jima" as I hear it's much better. Adam Beach who played the Indian in it was very good.

I finally got around to watching "The Departed" and I really liked it. It was intense and good. Wasn't sure how it was going to end, and I liked it.

I saw it in the theaters a few months. It was over the top, but I ended up liking it too.

Funny, because the ending is what killed it for me apart from the ridiculous way in which every cop acts and speaks. I have a hard time suspending belief for cop/crime movies having grown up around law enforcement my entire life.
