Dang. That's awful. It's people like that guy who really give funeral directors a bad name. If it were up to me, the guy would have to face each family and explain why he did.

The "biological soup" mentioned in the article is another question to add to your list of mixed DNA scenarios, eh?

assuming the atoms can all be separated, I don't see it as a problem.
However, there are plenty of bacteria having crumpets and tea with that soup and who knows where the stuff will end up. a lot of tug-o-wars with plants, small animals, etc are on the horizon.

when i die, i want to be put into a vacuum sealed steel container and launched into space. the odds of hitting a star, moon or planet are slim, so my collection of atoms should remain in one place and I'll be able to gather them for a swift resurection.
have fun wrastling with termites all ye who opt for the dirt condo.
