I wonder what an "Arab Spring" would look like in China. It could be just as bad as we have seen in the Middle East. A godless people with no sense of ethics, desperate, materialistic, and delusional. It could be very bad. Maybe that's why we aren't so keen on disrupting their current govt.

1989. Peaceful student demonstrations followed by an authoritarian crackdown followed by mass executions. Now all these years later we have an actual US presidential candidate praising what China did. Since that candidate is Donald Trump few people seem to care. Oh yeah, and Vladimir Putin is also a great leader.

There is good news on the religion front. It is fast becoming the largest Christian country (7% of population now). Russia too--they are baptizing all their kids into the Orthodox Church now. But the government is going to force a change in their theology to be more pro-Communist party. Other than that, you are spot on.
